Credibility 

We are serious about providing services with professional integrity. Counsellors at easyCounselling require specific educational qualifications and registration with their professional regulatory body. In turn, our practitioners are bound by a professional code of ethics and a high level of practice standards.

Counsellors
Counsellors at easyCounselling have achieved a minimum of a Master's degree in clinical social work, clinical psychology, or counselling psychology. They are registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Psychologists of Ontario. The OCSWSSW and CPO are governed by the Ontario legislature and have set stringent eligibility criteria to ensure a high standard of practice. Counsellors with less than four years of experience are required to seek regular clinical supervision with an experienced counselling practitioner. 

Life Coaches
Life coaching is currently a non-regulated profession in North America. Therefore, it is not possible to screen practitioners based on their membership with a professional life coaching regulatory body. As a consumer, it is your responsibility to research various life coaches to determine the best option for you. 

Evidence-based practice
Our counsellors are committed to the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP). When deciding how to approach an issue with a client, the counsellor will consult the research literature to determine the most effective approaches based on evidence. This ensures that our practice is current, flexible, and geared towards the client's needs.
